This policy explains what i-love-eq collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what the service needs to work.

What we collect

  • Account identity: your email address, or — if you sign in with Discord — your Discord ID, username, and avatar.
  • Profile & content: linked in-game characters and anything you post (profiles, guides, comments, screenshots, trade listings, guild info).
  • Usage & analytics: basic, aggregate analytics about how pages are used, to help us improve the site.
  • Technical: a session identifier stored in a cookie to keep you logged in.

How we use it

To run your account, show your public profile and content, power guild and community features, send the notifications you opt into, keep the service secure, and understand which features are useful. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Sessions are stored server-side. We do not use advertising cookies. Analytics may set its own cookies as described below.

Third parties

  • Discord: if you sign in with or link Discord, for authentication and optional activity bridging.
  • Analytics: a privacy-conscious analytics provider for aggregate usage stats.
  • Game data sources: reference data is community- and PEQ-sourced; this does not involve your personal data.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings; deletion removes your profile and personal data, subject to a short grace period and any legal retention requirements. Some aggregate, anonymized statistics may remain.

Your choices

You control your linked characters and posted content, your notification preferences, and your account's existence. Contact us with any privacy questions or requests.

We may update this policy as the service evolves; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
